For my videos in the studio, I use Fujifilm X-T4 and Sony a7 III.
Fujifilm X-T4 records an excellent 4K 25/50p video, internally and has great colour science. That minimizes my workflow. Although now we have Fujifilm X-H2s which is better and more suitable for video creation, Fujifilm X-T4 is covering my needs for video productions. The fact that is an APS-C camera offers me a compact and light system that can be used easily with great results. Pared with the 16-80mm f4 and Fujifilm 35mm f2 and a lot of Nikkor lenses with the help of an AF Fringer adapter can justify its presence in my studio.
Thanks to Fujifilm Hellas for providing me with such a great camera!
Sony a7 III is a great camera. Full Frame sensor that responds great in low light and a very efficient autofocus system. Paired with my SIGMA lenses, 16-28mm f2.8 and 28-70mm f2.8, can handle almost any situation.
For my studio lighting or on location lighting I have chosen one of the best brands out there, Aputure, and picked a kit with Amaran P60x. These are LED lights that produce excellent lighting that cover every production of video I make, either for YouTube all other projects. Bonus the effects I can chose and super app to control them through bluetooth.
I suggest anybody that needs good lighting to look into it.
Big thanks to Manios Cine Tools, the specialists on cinematography lighting and video-photo equipment for suggesting these Lights to me!
The amaran P60x is an bi-color Lensed LED Panel with 60W of intense output and is part of the newest generation of amaran LED panels. The P60x builds upon many of the existing features of previous amaran panels, including battery power & charging and compact form factor, then upgrades them with an expanded bi-color CCT range, increased durability, and Sidus Link App control. The P60x and P60c usher in a new generation of lighting for creators of all types by combining features to make them the best LED panels in their class.

I am using three monitors, each 27″. My old one is the Nec MultiSync PA272W, a highly quality professional monitor and one of the best choises at its time. The Last years I sold my two Dell monitors and replaced them with two monitors from Viewsonic, the Viewsonic ColorPro VP2768 2K & Viewsonic ColorPro VP2768 4K.
I am very happy with my setup, as it allows me to have a lot of space to use editing software with ease and comfort.
For editing my videos, I use DaVinci Resolve 18 – Studio | Blackmagic Design (there is also a free version for everybody).
I love this software. It has all the tools I need to edit my videos and projects and I wouldn’t change it for anything else (yes even for Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut).
DaVinci Resolve Studio supports up to 120 fps at a massive 32K resolution, as well as support for multiple GPUs for real time playback of professional 10‑bit formats, and accelerated H.264 and H.265 hardware decoding and encoding. There’s a full suite of immersive audio tools including Dolby Vision and HDR10+ grading and rendering, the DaVinci Neural Engine and 30 extra Resolve FX. You get temporal and spatial noise reduction, motion effects, lens distortion correction, de-interlacing, workflow and media asset management integration, remote scripting API, remote and networked color grading, plus rendering and encoder plug‑in support. Plus there’s full screen playback on a second monitor!

All these years as a professional photographer, I am used to editing my images with software that works for my workflow.
FastStone Image Viewer is a free very fast image browser which in the last years replaced Adobe Bridge. It allows me to work very fast viewing images and I suggest to everyone to give it a try.
Adobe Photoshop CC and Lightroom Classic don’t need any introduction. They are the no1 photography for editing images. I use Lightroom for cataloguing, keywording, editing and synchronizing images. But when I prepare an image for printing, a client or a photo competition, everything is done in Photoshop. I have the Photography Plan by Adobe, paying just 11 euros per month.
In 2022, I bought the new software by Topaz Labs. I have been using the old, non AI, software by Topaz, and I was very happy. The new AI software blew my mind. Denoise AI is a saver for high ISO images, while Sharpen AI have saved a lot of images slightly out of focus that would end up in the trash. Gigapixel AI is great for enlarging an image. See them here.
